Who I am

I enjoy working with people who are curious about themselves, open to reflection, and genuinely motivated for change. A strong therapeutic alliance - a relational “good fit” - is at the heart of meaningful and effective treatment. Much of my work focuses on developmental challenges and the repetitive patterns that can quietly limit growth.

My intention is to create a private, safe, and supportive environment where people can move closer to the life they want. I aim to engage in the kind of thoughtful, personal conversations that help patients navigate symptoms, relationships, family dynamics, and work-related struggles. My listening is grounded in a careful understanding of each individual: what brings them to therapy, and how past experiences may be shaping present difficulties.

I draw from the rich traditions of psychoanalysis and trauma treatment to support meaningful and lasting change. For many, deeper and longer-term work offers the space needed to uncover patterns, explore emotions, and build new ways of being.

At times, I take an active role - offering insight, guidance, or perspective - to help illuminate what may be hard to see alone. At other moments, my focus is on helping you recognize and gently work through symptoms of trauma or PTSD, always guided by what best supports your healing.

Contemporary psychoanalytic thinking reminds me that our inner worlds are complex and that not every struggle has a simple solution. Trauma-focused approaches have taught me to notice when someone may be caught in an emotional flashback and to offer grounding methods that help return to safety and presence in the here and now.

Above all, I value a collaborative, honest therapeutic process. Each person brings their own history, subjectivity, and desires, and together we find the path that supports your health, resilience, and sense of meaning.
